Six tools,one platform.

Projects, time, shifts, capacity, docs and recognition — assembee.

Overview

What is Assembee?

A unified work operating system — projects, time, shifts, capacity, docs and recognition on one record.

The old way

Spreadsheets + email

Primarily used for tracking work in cells, chasing status over email, and hoping the file on the shared drive is the latest one.

The current way

The six-tool stack

Powered by Jira, Toggl, Slack, Notion, Bonusly and Float

  • Six bills, six permission models, six places access drifts
  • The board, the timesheet and the roster never agree
  • SSO and integrations break every time someone leaves
  • Copy-paste between tracker and timesheet to close the week

Our solution

The work OS

Powered by one record

  • One login, one bill, one permission model across seven roles
  • Sprint board, timesheet and roster share the same record
  • Capacity math that respects shifts, holidays and approved leave
  • Consent-first monitoring with audit trails built in

Sprints, backlog, kanban, list, calendar and milestones with dependencies, subtasks, recurring tasks, custom fields and story points. Planning, refinement and retrospectives sit next to the board — and boards adapt per department: engineering sprints, plus lean pipelines for SEO keywords, sales deals, social posts and HR recruitment.

What you can finally delete

Wherever work happens

One record.Every surface.

Web app

The full workspace — boards, sprints, timesheets, capacity, docs, whiteboard and chat in one tab, real-time by default.

Desktop agent

Consent-first time and activity tracking from the system tray. It captures only while clocked in, skips sensitive windows and keeps tokens in the OS keychain.

Chrome extension

Clock in, log time and capture work from any tab — without switching back to the app to prove you were working.

Client Portal + API

Clients sign in to their projects and see nothing else. Webhooks and scoped API keys let the rest of your stack act on the record.

The foundation

The boring parts,done properly

Presence, permissions, attendance math and audit trails — the parts nobody screenshots but everybody depends on. Assemble treats them as the product, not the plumbing.

Access, not anarchy

Seven roles and a Client Portal

External clients join the projects they are on and see nothing else. Internally, access narrows by role from Super Admin down to a read-only seat.

What is Assembee?

Assemble is one product that covers project management, time, shifts, capacity, docs and recognition under a single login and permission model. It is built for teams of roughly 30 to 500 people who are tired of stitching six point tools together.

Does Assembee replace Jira, ClickUp, Toggl and Slack?

It covers the jobs those tools do — boards and sprints, time and timesheets, channels and docs — in one place. Teams move off that stack so access, billing and reporting live in one system instead of six.

How does desktop monitoring work, and can employees see and control it?

Capture runs only while a member is clocked in and has opted in, and sensitive windows are redacted. Members can see what is recorded and stop the clock at any time. Nothing is captured off the clock.

Where is data hosted?

Data residency is configurable. New orgs default to Mumbai, ap-south-1, and the region is pinned per org so records never drift across borders.

What roles and permissions exist?

Seven internal roles, from Super Admin down to a read-only seat, plus a scoped Client Portal. Every query is checked against the role and written to an audit trail.

How do clients collaborate without seeing internal work?

Clients join only the projects they are added to, through the Client Portal, and see nothing else in the org — no other projects, members or internal channels.

Is there an API?

Yes. Assemble exposes a REST API with scoped API keys and webhooks for events, so you can wire it into the rest of what you run.

Does Assembee have AI features?

Not yet. The schema and audit trail are being readied for assistive features like capacity suggestions and timesheet drafting. We would rather ship those when they are useful than promise a date.

One place, finally

Stop assembling tools. Start assembling work.

Bring the board, the timesheet, the roster and the kudos feed under one login. Keep the duct tape for actual ducts.
